Depreciation 13% over five years

Featured Replies

My beloved Yeti was totalled by a driver coming out of a side turning.  The Yeti rolled three times, ending up on its roof.  Luckily, my wife escaped with only cuts and bruises and the other driver has admitted fault; the police will prosecute.

I bought the Yeti as an ex demonstrator with 2,000 miles on the clock for £19,450 in January 2018.  The insurers offered £16,929 this week (September 2022) so that is only a drop of 13%! It was a L&K 2.0 DSG automatic with only 36,000 miles.  But I was chuffed with the payout.

Treasure your Yeti!

Mine appreciated; albeit briefly.  I bought it privately in February 2020 with 32k miles on it for £11,750 and c. 5 months ago, WBAC offered me £14,500 for it with 45k miles on it.  The last time I checked, they'd dropped that to £10,500; probably because it had rolled over

from being 5 years old to 6 years old.

No that cannot be the reason, the OP's Yeti rolled over three times and only depreciated 13% 🤣
