A little game of spot the difference (new 17s)

Featured Replies

So this is why I kept photos quiet. ;) A little game to spot the difference, or maybe the similarity. ;):D

Furby Mk1 before destruction:

Furby Mk2 as of now:

OK, so there's LOADS of differences, but there's a certain 4 items of similarity that were bolted on last night. :D And I love them - brings back quite fond memories of my first furby. But I think it looks even better on mine now than it did on Mk1 back before Jan 2004. :) For those uninitiaited they're offical VW 17" alloys - part of their sport options package IIRC - 7.5" wide so stand a little prouder than my old 17s. Plus although they're 5 spoke too, there's something about the design that ooozes quality. plus, they're damn lighter as well.

Just better not leave them anything like this again though. ;)

Yeah Eddy - I forgot to say they were Evolo's - Shout out to Beezerdiesel who offered them to me at a very decent price - especially as they're nearly new tyres.

If you're repairing it, would you like a bonnet soon. ;)

"mongrel" model :D

Was a bog basic 1.9 TDI "comfort"- but its now got the vRS engine in it, with a big turbo, FMIC, etc etc. Now its officially a "discomfort"

They look ace.

Those wheels really suit the car

The rear lights would look great on a black Fabia.

Jason...they look nice...can't say great, coz your old one pretty much had the same one...I was expecting spinners or turbo-charged wheels..

:D

Lovely wheels mate, look excellent. I want some! Now the 18s are gone I think 17s would be the perfect compromise!

They look nearly as good on yours as they did on mine Jase!!!

Sad to see them go but at least they've gone to someone who appreciates them.

JUST STAY AWAY FROM KERBS!!!

Also importantly don't flip the car ;) (it's been at least a week since we've mentioned that now :P )

spot on fella - well done

Looks great Jason. Looking forward to seeing them still like that after the drive on Saturday
