Afternoon folks 

 

This morning the headlight warning buzzer continued despite the lights being switched off. Also noticed the rear parking light was illuminated despite the switch being in the off position. 

 

Started it again and seems fine now but assuming something may be on its way out?

Did you leave indicator on left / right?

Ooh I'm not sure? I don't think so but had just parked to the nearside so there is a chance! I'll try that and see if it does the same thing

The Parking Lights are ignition off and indicator stalk down, left or right.  one front sidelight (position light) on and one rear side lights and a registration plate or 2 light bulbs lit.

 

Side Lights are not Parking Lights in the UK.

You were spot on! Indicator was on hence the alarm and parking light!
