I have the issue where it’s difficult to regulate the cabin temperature, it’s either full hot or cold with no adjustment, 2004 Fabia with manual controls.

I’ve cleaned out the cabin temp sensor.

I understand there is a calibration procedure you can try first using vcds but cant seem to find how to do it online.

anyone know how to do it?

Found out how to do it using vcds, seemed to improve a bit but think the motor needs replacing.

I removed and cleaned out the recirc flap motor potentiometer and now that seems to work ok but accessing the other motor is a bit more involved so will leave for now as it is working to some fashion.

Fan speed doesn’t work on setting 1 so I’ve ordered a new resistor.

Change that before even thinking about a new motor then.
