Drove my 306 xsi to work

Featured Replies

Just had a new exhaust fitted to my 97 306 xsi ready for selling and thought i'd drive it to work today to give it a good run, its been parked in my garage for a few weeks.

Really bought a smile to my face! I'd forgotten just how well it drives after driving the fabia for a couple of months now. It's in a completely different league to the fabia handling wise and is so much fun to throw round corners, it just sticks to the road like glue!

I'm gonna be very sad to see it go! :(

the 306 was/is an amzing handeling car.

The rear wheel 'steering' makes an amazing difference and istill morn mine being written off as the octy just isn't a patch on it.

Keep it, Strip it, Track it :thumb: always an option

My Dad got a 306 from launch way back in 1992/3... the handling was just so awsome that I went out and got one.... and then another.

To be honest I think it took the rest (Vauxhall et al) almost 10 years to catch up, however I have read that the 307 was a step backwards (never driven one so can't comment).....

I'd go for the Track Hack option as suggested above if you can aford it.

306 handling is most woosome!!!! I had a 97 dturbo and it stuck to the road like glue!! last peugot worth buying imho
