Just purchased a new karoq but it has no engine cover any one advise 

Apparently no longer fitted so perfectly normal

If it is a 2.0 tsi see here..

No it's the 1.5 petrol engine 

Also no cover on 1.0 TSI engine 

There was a recall in April 2022 for many VAG cars with the 2.0TSI engine because the engine cover could become dislodged and overheat. This included the Kodiaq but not the Karoq for some reason. 

 

Perhaps Skoda have now decided to remove them all to avoid any fire problems until they can source one that is fire-resistant?

This is the engine compartment in my Karoq, Its a May 2022 facelift model.

I have a May 2022 facelift 1.0 SE L manual.  There's no cover on mine.

2023 1.5tsi, dsg SE-L. New this month. No engine cover.
