Is it possible to alarm the Kamiq without the motion detector so that a dog can be left in it?

Hi, welcome to the forum. Possibly - does your vehicle have a switch near the bottom of the B pillar on drivers side?

Best check your owners manual. As above there could be a switch on the drivers b pillar, there could be an option in the vehicle screen to disable, or as per most other models pressing the remote lock button twice turns off the interior monitoring, but note it also turns off the deadlock.

From the online owners manual:

The following functions of the alarm system can be deactivated at the same time:

• Interior monitoring

• Towing protection

Deactivation will also switch off the SAFE function  Central locking.

Deactivation

• By double locking within 2 seconds.

Or:

• In infotainment in the menu  Menu item for interior monitoring

Or:

• In infotainment in the menu  Menu item for interior monitoring

The deactivated functions are reactivated after the vehicle is unlocked and locked again.

 

Deactivation is to be carried out if the vehicle is, for example, towed or transported.

 

 

 

You can also add a shortcut button to the pull down menu in the infotainment.
