So here we go again. After selling my 08 reg SE number 571 last weekend I went straight out and purchased SE number 816. It’s got 155k miles on the clock but only 1 owner and full dealer service history. I will as always try and bring it up to a fantastic standard. It drives faultlessly and interior apart from the gear stick badge is mint. A few things done already. New genuine headlamps and mirror glass replaced. Also new genuine gear stick badge. I have a set of wheels at my refurbers to collect this week and some nice goodies are arriving this weekend. Pics of so far progress below.

The new gear lever cap makes such a difference. I replaced the one in mine and just enjoy glancing down at it when I'm driving. 😁

Audio upgrade time. Got myself a JVC mechless BT head unit. I have to say the sound is great even through standard speakers. Simple to fit as it’s a lot shallower so no cutting out behind. And the JVC app for phones makes it a doddle to set up 

Shouldn't it have a push-button LW wireless? 😇

Where did you get those mats? 

I can only ever find the ones with the updated logo which I'm not a fan of.

Hi mate I got them from EBay. Been looking constantly for ages. But they do appear from time to time.

Wheel alignment time. Drives so much better without the toe out that it had lol

Blimey the sun came out today. So managed a quick wash of the car and also fitted new rear mud flaps.

Did you trim the mudflaps or your bumper Pete? 😁

The bumper was trimmed mate

New genuine clutch and slave cylinder installed. Ohh and Wavetrac diff as well

Quick pass with the DA and Menzerna polish. Needs lots more time to get it really shiny though.
