Sidelights upgrade

Featured Replies

Hi.

I am in the process of upgrading my lights to LED etc.

I have already done the headlight, but I am struggling with the sidelights....

Is it true that the front bumper needs to be removed to get access to the headlight to remove the headlight to get to the sidelight etc....

It could be me with fat fingers and hands 😂🤣😂 and very little space with the battery on one side etc

Thanks again and all the best

Sean.

The side lights for the Fabia and Roomster are a nightmare to swap with the headlight in position.

I did mine, had to shift the battery on the passenger side and used some bent nose pliers to carefully grip the plastic bulb holder - not the wires and pull back firmly whilst wiggling a little. The drivers side I had to unbolt the fuel filter and move it across then do the same action. (After moving the rubber covers of course).

I used crocodile clips some years ago,  the size that are on a battery charger. I cut one side down, got to make sure you get the holder not the wires.

I did move the filter one side.

Pull on the wires for the side light and the bulb will come out. No need to remove anything.
