Kamiq Monte Carlo Cornering Light

Featured Replies

Hi,

My 2022 Monte Carlo has developed a front cornering light issue. I get an orange triangle warning and bulb symbol warning lights on the dash. Both front cornering lights work ok even when the warning lights are on the dash. When I turn off the ignition the fault clears but then comes on after a few miles or so. I have taken it into the main dealer and they said they cleaned up the contacts but the fault has now reoccurred. Have anyone else had the same issue.

Thanks in advance

My Monte is a little older so could you explain cornering light, please

My Yetis (or the first one anyway had moving lamps for cornering.

Yes, it's the same thing.

The lamps do not move. The foglight on the inner side of the bend comes on to supply extra light. This may either be when the indicator is applied or when the wheel is turned. It only occurs as below 40kph.

Thank you both, I rather liked the swivelling cornering lights, but the fixed extra corner lights might be useful for carpark manouvers.

Thanks for the correction.

Full beam even better for car park manoeuvres if there is none about to annoy / dazzle.
