New Octavia - help me choose

Recommended Posts

Hi I am choosing my new Octavia I am torn between a 1.6fsi L&K or a 2.0fsi Elegance. I mostly do short journeys although a few times I year we do go

on 4 to 5 hour motorway trips. What a great value car they are I have decided on the Octavia after looking at many other makes. Has any one used the internet car sales sites as they seem to offer better value thain the main dealers.

I'm sure either 1.6 or 2.0 FSi would give you an excellent car. Don' t overlook the diesels though. You might be surprised at how frugal they are around town on your short journeys, and they make motorway cruising very relaxed too. Get youreself down to a local Stealer and give 'em a try. You can still look on 'tinernet to get some idea of prices if you wish.

Hi and welcome' date='

If you don't need a speed machine go for the 1.6 L&K has a few more toys than the Elegance, and will still cruse at 80mph.

As for useing internet sites my brother, has recently bought a car from one, when it turned up there was a small dent in the door and was pre registered. He has now had problems with the clutch, and finding a dealer who will sort it out under warrenty, otherwise he is faced with a 800mile return journey to the suppliying dealer.

But this might be a one off.

Others on here seem to rate [url']www.Drivethedeal.co.uk[/url] for buying cars.
