Audio info – anyone close to Eastbourne got a VCDS or OBD Eleven and can help me please?

Featured Replies

I'm looking to replace the MIB1 set-up in the 2015 Scout i've bought. PAB567 can supply me with kit but is asking me for info… "you want adaptation channels map made with setting: address 5F, login 20103, adaptation, CSV file (and then 2nd run, RAW HEX)" which a VCDS can access apparently. Is anyone close to Eastbourne and could help me with this?  Thanks, Jonathan.

I can't help you out Jon but if you are on Facebook you could look up the 'VCDS Users UK' group and find out if someone is nearby.

There's also a local to you thread on here in a coding area, not sure it's up to date though.

Wasn't about to start a fresh post just to rant but my opinion of 'Skoda main dealers' (and the whole 'new car is everything' system) confirmed by a trip to Eastbourne Skoda. Simple request to obtain the data (via VCSD) I need for audio MIB1/2 etc switching – polite and upfront and expecting to pay for the 'workshop time' but flat refusal… “Sorry, we can't do that”. Bam! To quote Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman “Big mistake” – I shall continue to work with independent agents and actively avoid any dealings with the Showroom Stasi   :O)

I'm sure this has been discussed many times before. This is just cathartic ranting (I'm as much a dinosaur as they are). Tuppence spent.

Just to say Paulski (local to me, Hove) sorted me a full VCSD data query. Top bloke – got the data I needed and many more insights (and a headsup on the coolant expansion tank thing that can be a problem). Thank you him, and this group.
