Well Chuffed!!

Featured Replies

Picked up my VRS on Thursday and as the title says... I'm well chuffed with it!! I have already installed the vent in the arch. Took me 30 minutes (tea break included) Did not even have to take the arch liner out. Used a stanley knife and 10 self tappers, a bit of sealant and job sorted.

Got my PD160 air ducts on order from Seat and a K&N Air Filter. Then a phone call to Angel Tuning and I think I am about done??

Thought about the pikey mod 2, then thought against it. The air duct on the front of the bumper is more than capable of flowing air into the intercooler. I have read on other threads that people say that it does help, but I think it icould be the placebo effect. I could be wrong?? Wouldnt be the first time, according to the missus??:(

The brakes on mine are strong. Also read that some cars suffer with bad brakes. Having had an FRS and them lovely Brembo 4 pots at the front. I can say that the Skoda ones are really good in comparison.

Once I have the re-map done, I will put in the rolling road to get a rough guide of the power it has!!

Then enjoy having all that performance and still seeing topside of 50 mpg!!
