Fabia vRS intercooler pipe part number check

Featured Replies

Hi there

Just bought a cheap vRS SE as a project, and it is lacking a lot of power, previous owner had told me that it was mapped to Stage 1 running around 160-170bhp. However it doesn’t feel as though it’s ‘pulling like a train’. There is an air leak in a pipe leading into the intercooler, I’m not the most advanced when it comes down to the mechanics of cars, but I’ll attach a photo of it. When putting my foot down, you can hear the sucking/whistling noise when around 3000-3500revs. I’ve raised the car and had a look at the air leak in the pipe, I ended up finding a pipe similar to the pipe which is leaking on Facebook MarketPlace, could anyone let me know if this pipe would fit on the intercooler, I’ll also attach the listing of the pipe. The part number of the pipe is 1K0 145 790 C 1K0145790C         Has anyone had this problem before on their vRS? I also have another forum topic on Briskoda under the name ‘2007 Fabia vRS SE #925’

You don't need the new pipe, just clean yours up and secure it with some self tapping screws.
