H&r springs mk3 vrs

Featured Replies

Hi, has anyone got h&r lowering springs on their mk3 vrs? If so, has ride quality been affected?

Yep loads of us mate. I’ve moved onto a superb sport line 272 now and the h&r are on that now because I was so impressed with them on the octy

Nice, think ima go for the h&r!

Makes sense as I know they were dealer approved back ok the mk2.

Please post a pic of the car before & after. I can't decide between eibach pro kit and h&r.

Sold! What drop?

How does it affect load capacity of the boot?
Also, what spacers did you get?

H+r advertise them as 40mm but on a vrs that gives 25mm

I recently had 140kg of sand in the boot and myself and dad in the front (200-ish-kg) and had no issues at all.. .

The spacers are st suspension DZX spacers.

Following on from the above. . Worth noting mine is a facelift mk3. .

So the rear track is already something like 37mm wider than the mk3 pre facelift without any spacers
