2016 Columbus screen failed.

Featured Replies

HI

First time poster but long time VAG community member.

I have a 2016 Superb and the screen has gone pink/purple - the touch screen functionality still works which is nice :)

Is this unit fit for the bin? I presume this head unit is a Columbus.

If I buy a replacement unit from Ebay, is it plug and play (No component protection?)

I haven't hooked up VCDS to see if there's anything logged but I doubt there will be, do I need to pull the part No. with VCDS and buy an identical one?

Lots of questions and appreciate the help in advance.

Thanks.

Hi thanks very much for the reply.

I'm not sure what you mean by this?

I pulled the Part NO. from it with VCDS means says ABT_STD-2 whereas most of the units I'm seeing on eBay are ABT_high-2 what's the difference?
