Best not get one then if you want to be taking it to the 1/4 mile strip or doing lots of traffic light grand pr1-ck starts.

 

Still nippy though even if not putting out 100% of the linear power / torque.

Same thing applies for every single vehicle, no matter if it's bev or ice. I've never heard of a flat line torque -hp graph. It's always a curve. Sure it's not in time, it's on rpm, but when accelerating you can't keep rpm steady. So it's almost the same.
