Hello guys, can you tell me please how much oil should I buy, what type and what oil filter? Is better to know ahead of going to the mechanic. Thank you.

The oil is to VW 504 00 / 507 00 for 2017 2.0 TSI or TDI's for Fixed or Variable Service Intervals. This is 5w 30 FS III  (long life oil.)

 

Even if the TDI is getting annual / 9,400 mil oil changes it is the VW 507 00 that must be used.     

 

(Do not let the later VW 508 00 / 509 00 confuse things. That is 0w 20 FS IV 2018 on)
