Hi, new member here.  For those of a certain age, is there an easier way to access the fuse box under the steering wheel side?  Knocking on a bit now, so find it hard to scrunch down. Many thanks.

 

Not that I could find I'm afraid, it is a real bugger to access as is the cabin filter when you come to change it 🙁

Thanks for the reply thebrighton, it is indeed a bugger. finally managed to sort it this afternoon, lying on a freezing cold pavement! 

use a mirror on a telescopic stick.

useful & super-cheap to own for many purposes.

If its a long job, it's quicker to take out the drivers seat and work on your back with a carpet/cushion for protection-mine is a LH drive - not sure if its the same on a UK version
