What would people say is acceptable oil consumption my vrs is on 205k seems to use 200ml per 1000miles no obvious leaks any suggestions?

That seems very acceptable as you just need to buy oil and top up.

If you want to use less oil it is going to require you to spend money on the engine or someone doing the work required.

I thought maybe an older engine will just naturally burn a little oil ...turbo has about 140k on it so seals maybe leaking a bit perhaps
