Hi I have superb model 2014 2.0 dsg. Yesterday I felt a jolt then car did not pick up speed and it was revving very high with a spanner sign on dash,so I turned car off then it went back to normal as it never happened,i then took it to local garage,they couldn’t find any faults when plugged computer.what could this be ?

How many miles on the car and has the DSG been serviced with oil & filter changes every 40,000 miles, & when was that last done?

You might need to go to an Automatic Gearbox specialist to get a diagnosis.

A fault that is not recognised by whatever generic diagnostics computer they use.

Hi👋🏼 so I checked what I had written down, I had a gearbox service this march gone, although iam a taxi driver and my superb is my taxi.I still think it’s hard to do 40k since this year march, so I’m going to take it in to mr gearbox at sheffield where I got the service from,will update later
