I have a Superb iV, had it for a while now but have one thing that has been niggling me...

 

When I move from one of the forward gears to reverse there is always a one or two second delay from putting the DSG box into reverse and the accelerator pedal actually being responsive. I have to make a point or making sure the car has come to a complete stop, take a very short pause and then reverse. I don't have the same problem when the car is already stationary. 

 

Is this common? 

I have read this in the press, sounds like the same as this long term test car, read down the page to the differences between the first and second car.

Yes, that's definitley my issue! Will have to get the dealer to take a look at it then.
