Hi all,

 

Has anyone installed a front splitter from Maxton Design at all?
 

I bought my 2013 VRS in January which already had a Maxton front splitter fitted but it was damaged and I’ve been wanting to replace it with a new one for a while but looking on their website and Facebook page I’m a bit put off by what seems like quite a lot of negative reviews over install issues, build quality and customer service in general so am interested if anyone has any experiences of recent installs at all?

 

If anyone has any pictures of the two splitters I screenshotted fitted that you could post that would be amazing as I’m struggling to see the difference between the two or make a decision on which to go for.

From lots of the Facebook posts I read on Octavia user groups (and previous mk6 Golf groups) Maxton are quite fragile and seem to damage easily. 

 

There are a few other options out there, Rieger would be my choice.
