Hi, I've had that common problem where my touchscreen has become possessed and starts changing radio stations and selecting options on it's own. None of the tips on the forum worked for me, so I've removed the touchscreen and need to replace it.

 

Instead of risking buying a dodgy scratched 2nd hand one from eBay I wondered if there was an android one I could buy that I can just plug in and replace it with??

 

My touchscreen serial is: 5E0919605D

@JoeOctavia if you received Mark's display and it worked happily, do you think I can have yours please? My display's volume knob has been broken and cannot find only the knob part.

Sorry. I've been useless. It's currently buried in the garage with little likelihood of finding it in the next few weeks.

That's ok. The problem seems to have gone away now, think it was due to excessive condensation in the car. I brought the display indoors for a couple of days left near a radiator and that sorted it. It started going funny again after a few weeks, but now I'm using those moisture trap things now, and the problem has never returned. So fingers crossed!!

Thanks you both for the update. In the case that Joe does not need the screen anymore, if Mark could kindly find it in the next few weeks maybe we can arrange that I can get it if possible? Thanks.
