Retro fit remote central locking

Featured Replies

Hello, I am after a little help of possible. Not sure if this is the right section to ask.

My wife has a 2011 1.2 roomster with central locking but using the key in the barrel.

I was wondering if anyone has retrofit remote central locking to these cars and if anyone has a link to the kit required, and is it an easy enough task.

I did phone Skoda but they say they no longer do the kits.

I have seen loads of various kits on online but not sure if they are any good or as simple as they look to install.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, we are Dorset based so if anyone does this sort of thing then feel free to get in touch as happy to get someone else to fit ha ha.

Thanks in advance for any help

I fitted remote central locking to a 94 Audi 100 Avant. It was an aftermarket kit, which basically operated the central locking via an actuator. It was installed onto the driver side lock and had a separate remote.
