Can anybody tell me if a standard 1.2 petrol or 1.4 tdi rear silencer fits the fabia VRS? 

I just need it to fit for the NCT (Irish version of MOT).

Would even a polo back box work?

Different pipe ODs.

vRS is 55mm, other diesel engines (and 2.0 petrol) 50mm; other petrol engines are either 45mm or 38mm.

Adaptor pieces could be used instead of the usual parallel dual-sleeve connections though, to adapt diameters.
