Has anyone managed to find the coding needed to activate both reversing lights yet? Would help my Mrs' nighttime parking confidence massively!

If it's a 'coding' thing then you might have more luck asking in the Diagnostics & VCDS section, as below.

 

Presumably the other side is wired up with a bulb in it(?).

Today I checked and there are no LEDs in the second light

My main dealer confirmed that you can activate it by wiring it in, but its not a coding change.

I wonder how it activates as there is no LED in the right lamp physically?

One would presume that a rewire would include fitting a bulb carrier 🤣
