Fabia 09 1.2 Petrol Sport Management light

Featured Replies

Last year the Bank 1 o2 sensor died and have been changed and it worked for 8-9 months and the manag. Light reappeared again...same error ...same sensor but this time was bank 2 and changed again and it disappeared for about 300 miles but reappearing again as bank 1 ...in the meantime had to change the chain but im stuck with the error... car doesn't go in a limp mode or nothing. The mechanic suggested a electrical problem. Any opinions?

Since there are no V engines fitted in the Fabia there is no bank 2, only bank 1 so it must be a software anomaly.

Spending £1000+ to investigate the error on a car worth £2000 is not economical. Please offer advice not assuming if i have money or not

You said you didn't have the money, you didn't say you'd been quoted a grand, that's a completely ridiculous price!

Get a better mechanic, I suggest an independent VW specialist, and I've already given you some good advice, here's some more; don't get so emotional, I'm trying to help you.
