the bloody deadlocked door issue

Featured Replies

Sooo, it appears i am not alone in this issue, my passenger side door, mirrors and windows wont open on my 2014 superb, front and rear. so I am only able to get in through the driver side front and rear doors.

Am I right in assuming it is most likely going to be the wiring loom on the driver side? I have had a tinker today but I was in a foul mood and was just getting more and more annoyed, i can see a speaker wire that has a slight tear in the wire, but the rest appear ok, but obviously i cant pull the rubber gaiter back far enough to see it.

if I remove the loom from in-between the door, then pull it through the door once I have removed the door card, how do I get it out? is it a case of cutting that cardboard bulge thing off and taking it through there?

I can then inspect it and either fix, or look at a replacement one
