Nope.

Mine only goes on the rollers for a reason eg remap. Sorry.

I will come and watch though.

Ah, your figures are adjusted Jon? ;)

Nope, those are genuine figures.

Might be being turned down a little as traction in this weather is not good :(

traction in this weather is fantastic :D

Now now, Denis :nono: Considering all of us have just about calmed down from the previous flaming / b1tching session, lets not start another 4x4 flame war :D

Can I come over and build a snow-person then? :p

Rob.

Ian / Denis,

traction in this weather is fantastic

As I'm sure it is in most low powered cars :D

Just like watching tennis... :D

Advantage Jon!

the weather is perfect for real men in real cars to show that skill not ESP makes you safe and quick!

Ian....just because you have an excellent record at procreating doesnt make you not camp when it comes to 4x4/ESP if you are bored am sure there are some sheep on the fells that need collecting with your offroad RV with its deep tread p6000 mud plugger tyres.... :flame:

Jon, power is nothing without control? What use is that mighty power if you can't use it?

(I'll ignore ffelan as he's just a ball boy - or so the rumours say... )

PMSL...sorry right words right time, quality!

Traction is fab, as I said to MH, I will miss 3k launches with the -1.0 light flashing and the coool amber glow from no esp light :D but where's the fun in knowing you can leave anything at the lights...except debadged S4's, the git.

Not racin as thats not legal right. Just flexing my right to accelerate. :D

offroad? rofl.gif Didn't know Tescos was counted as offroad ;)

Ahh, but it can be controlled with judicious use of the throttle rather than relying on electronic aids. Yes, traction is an issue, but I'll learn to drive round the shortcomings of too much power (until the diff arrives :D ) or I might just back the power down to a still respectable 250-270 until then.

(I'll ignore ffelan as he's just a ball boy - or so the rumours say... )

well see how much of a ball boy I am at 15.30 on monday afternoon.....

when i pick my new beehotch up and cruise around lookin good!

neons are illegal on the 4x4 Ian - the glow is allowed seeing the tube is not.. and on the 4x4 it looks like a flying saucer at std ride height.

Ahh' date=' but it can be controlled with judicious use of the throttle rather than relying on electronic aids.[/quote']

Thats why you rely on ASR traction control then?

4x4's don't need such namby pamby driving aids, we can use all the power, all the time :D

(and unlike Mr Ffelan, I don't go offroad, there is no need when you can make it round the corners pointing in the right direction :p)

Why don't you all get a Superb and drive around at sensible speeds and in style. :D

All this Torque thingy and flexing is so Top Gear, Barging now thats where it's at.

Des

my offroading experience in both rwd and 4x4 vehicles was that a well driven rwd car can easy outrun a halfwit in a 4x4.. (not you Si...)

look at the great rally drives of the 70's 80's not like these modern nancys in peugeots and subarus and mitsubishi's - they made christmas lights when i was a boy......?

Ah, which 4x4 was that - the celicia or the audi that passed you?
