Upgrade swing radio

Hey, I’m new here and I bought a Swing 2nd gen to update our current radio. I thought this might be the easy way to get bluetooth in our car. 
 

after getting the unit I figured out that I hade the wrong connection in the car. New one is MIB2 and are using the new quadlock i found a converter so I could get the unit connected but when I start it and try to use Bluetooth it ask for turning the ignition on. But it is on. MFSW stopped working and audio don’t pup up in the small screen. 
 

figured out that I might need this unit to be coded. But I don’t have vcds interface so wanted to reach out before getting one.

I have tried some cheap odb2 but reader and it says that there is no error codes but I don’t trust it. 

 

anyone have any suggestions to help me here. I have seen some where that there is 2 Versions of canbus might this be the issue? 
 

aux worked fine with the new unit but it dose not turn on with the key so it a bit irritating.
