LEAKING COOLANT HELP!!!!!

Featured Replies

Hi guys Skoda Fabia greenline 1.2 TDI 14 plate. Just recently had a egr delete and had it mapped out. Just it out for its first drive today since having it done now I'm losing coolant and pretty quickly. Could this be related ?? Seems to be coming from near the oil filter housing if this helps.

What did you do with the EGR cooling pipes?

Hi, me personally did nothing it was a garage that did the egr delete. As far as I'm aware they used a blanking plate and mapped it out.

So take it back to the garage that messed it up, they've obviously not done the EGR cooler bypass properly when they deleted it.

What was it they was supposed to do. They told me all was required was to put a blanking plate in and mapped some lights out. It's a Skoda greenline 1.2. I've seen videos on YouTube where they removes something and put some pipe in place is it a similar process to mine

They've obviously messed something up, otherwise it wouldn't be leaking coolant after they worked on it.
