How to remove this driver (left) door harness wiring "grommet"?

Hello, I'm troubleshooting an issue where my driver (left) door doesn't reliably unlock. Seems a common issue is a broken wire in the wiring shown that runs between the door and the body. Trying to pull out this grommet but it's not coming easy and I don't want to break it. It's the side that does into the actual door. Any tips? Thanks

I believe u need to remove the door card and unclip it from the inside.

    Remove the door card, remove the sealing panel behind it.

     

    Then reach your hand in and pop the panel out from the inside.

     

    No other way to do it without damaging stuff
