Mk3 Stereo upgrade with Android Auto and Camera.

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Please can I get some advise on upgrading car stereo to an Android Auto unit with reverse camera. Don't want to push a fortune, but your advise is appreciated.

I replaced the Bolero with a Mekede M6pro 4/64gb and I am very satisfied, excellent sound, good processor, fluid software.. I connected the rear camera to it, which was also bought on Aliexpress as the Mekede unit.. everything works perfectly

How is the call quality while driving. I previously had an Android head unit and call quality was horrible

Does the new unit work with the parking sensors and associated 'beep' sounds?

Yes, parking sensors work with an audible warning
