New Octavia vRS Driverline Email

Featured Replies

Sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this question, though it is linked to the delivery of my new Octavia vRS.

I've received an email from a company and the email address is activate247.com. It's asking me to activate my Driverline service.

Can anyone confirm if this is genuine? It says on the email that they're a formally appointed agent for Skoda. With all the scams doing the rounds I'm dubious about things like this.

Cheers,

Rich

Never heard of them. My immediate reaction is to chat to the dealer when collecting and do nothing now.

When collecting mine, the dealer set up all the relevant Skoda assistance and app stuff.

A WhoIs search has that domain owned by Easyspace Ltd, a domain reseller. I can't see how that's linked to Skoda.

If it asks for any financial details or personal details then treat it as a scam.

I've not had any email from such a company and if I did I'd be highly sceptical about it. If you want something activated go to your purchasing dealer and get it done there.
