Towbar advice

Featured Replies

I am just in the process of trading in my Octavia estate for a 2019 Kodiaq Tsi Sportline 4x4 and I need a towbar fitting. Skoda want £1695 for the privilege, they will only fit the electricly deployed towbar but obviously it's all in including coding etc. But there is a bit of a wait for it.

Just wondered if anyone has experience of having one fitted independently, I am near King's Lynn Norfolk

The factory kit also includes better engine cooling and a ton of other things. If you are not going to tow 2 ton trailer, go for a aftermarket one from non dealer.

I only tow a small trailer, 600kg plated. My local independent wants £700 and they will come to me to fit it. Think that's the way to go.

Go for a local.

The car I have now was factory fitted with towbar electrics from new, no towbar as it needs a new rear skirt made specially. Hence the price.
