Air Quality Sensor - B10AF04

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Had the fowlloing error code pop up on the Skoda I have cleared it and it comes back and have repated this process over the last couple of weeks. I guess its time for a new one or before I do that you know somthing I dont?

Look slike an easy swap out under the scuttle passenger side. Best place to purchase direct from VW or will OEM be ok?

Thanks

I have the same error , I was not unduly worried about it as it didn't seem to make any difference .

I thought it was a dash out job so wasn't going to go that far but as it seems a simple job I may just change it. A chinese item will do for me , if it works OK  good , it it doesn't then it wont make a lot of difference and not a lot of money wasted.

Well I have attempted to locate the sensor but hit a brick wall. Well actual a black plastic one I think.

Anyone know the exact location of the sensor?

Here is a video of what I found or did not find!

No I did not craking bit of advice and from the sounds of it I located the correct area and found it. My issue is getting one of the two Torx screws out. The scuttle that you need to remove the wipper blades for is stuck down with the front glass!!!!!

OK so today I managed to find a break in the weather and 1hr free time to dive into this issue.

I have managed to get access to the sensor located under the wipers on the passenger side next to what I believe to be the ECU. Once I go myself in it was easy to replace the unit and swap out. However, I still have the same issue!!

So rather than it be the sensor itself could it be the wiring? Has anyone else had this issue?
