Hello, i want to install in my mk3 an ambient light kit, but not the oem one, i have bought an universal kit and i want to know where is the best place to wire the modules, because i heard that if i wire it on the footwell it will not work, and also in the doors someone told me to wire the module from the window motor, could you guys give me some advices?

I wired mine into the footwell lights and they work no problem
