Last night i believe my car went into limp mode. I was in 6th gear, at full throttle for well over a minute reaching a ridiculous speed. Dispite that, ingore the speeds etc, how can i infuture stop this from happening. If im doing these speeds i dont want my car to go into limp mode. Is it like a limiter?

Any help would be much appreciated...

Its when the car decides its pushing too much of something, that it kills itself to try and preserve the car's components. In this case it may have been being at full boost for too long. I can't say I've had the same when Vmaxing my car out - worth a check to see if there's any codes logged.

As you now have 'Impossible Performance' I would say your car went into limp mode due to overboost. Perhaps a revisit for some adjustments is required. :P

This wouldn't have been on a track as there aren't any with straights that long so you must have been on a public road.

hey the same happened to me couple times i think 3 times.

last time is was 3 days ago,i was pushing 230 full trottle and happened the same?

in both cases its the ECU saying "I don't like being pushed this hard" so says "Right, f*** you, if you won't ease off the throttle, I will!" - and it does. Its like a revenge of the fabia.
