How often should the Haldex oil be changed in a Skoda Octavia Scout 4x4 2008 with a BMM engine?

 

From what i can understand, this oil is for the 4x4 system and should be changed once a while. How often/KM?

IIRC it’s every 4 years or 40K Miles. Don’t forget the hidden filter if yours has the gen 4 Haldex. Loads of good info here:-

 

Pretty sure the above is right but its Gen2.  Still has a filter though

No not @ 40,000 miles.

Do the 20,000 & 40,000 with filter or more sensibly @ 20,000 miles on older cars, so 2nd Generation Haldex.

 

Then Skoda was doing @ 4 years / 40,000 miles still on newer generation Haldex when VW were at 30,000 miles, then 30,000 or 3 years.

Skoda took a year or more before they got up to date, and still til this time will change oil and not do a clean out or filter.
