You have to measure the size of the handle as well as the plug.

you will have to make some coding changes so it accepts the right video type also. why arent you going down the route of a genuine camera either?

Yeah I have vcds. I can’t find a genuine one that’s right for my car

what does this interface achieve?

 

what I did was cut off the rca, add a pin to the positive wire of the camera and put the pin in the qhadlocl + a little codding abd voila, camera works

Your profiles states you have a 2018 car - genuine highline cameras are pretty easy to find, just for example: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003578483619.html

 

I actually grabbed a Tiguan version as it had a washer jet to keep the camera clean - I checked with the seller and they were happy to install the Octavia dataset/parameter file on it for me

I saw the post with the calibration but I only have vcds I’ve never had Odis so I’ve just ordered an aftermarket camera.

The calibration is optional, I only did it to remove the "no calibration" error code

 

Hopefully the aftermarket one works out, I'm sure a few people have had issues once they've been fitted for a while.
