False Loss of pressure warning pops up

it is false warning..because the tyre is not lossing in pressure that TPMS suggesting. I mentioned earlier that I have digital inflator and i am always careful with the pressure of my tyres. So, definitely it is false warning and it gives me in random tyres...month ago it was rear right, then front left, rear left and then front left..so all tyres got the warning.

When you have a failing ABS wheel speed sensor it can result in TPMS warnings  (since it is an indirect TPMS system that uses the same sensors as the ABS), so it's not a false warning but a warning being reported strangely by the firmware in the ABS system.

So as you have been told many times, you must replace the faulty ABS wheel speed sensor on the left hand rear wheel.

I don't think my ABS sensor is faulty. i don't feel any problem driving or braking the car at all other than some squeaky noise which is coming from the brand new sets of brake pad. Moreover it is not particularly from one wheel the warning coming from. So if i, for the argumnent sake, change rear left ABS sensor, would it solve the problem or i have to change them all four wheels.

If you have a faulty ABS sensor then changing it will fix the problem if it is the source - since we all sem to be going round in circles getting nowhere nearer a theoretical solution then maybe the time has come to try something that has been suggested - provided it doesn't cost too much?

I would call it a false warning because the tyre is at the correct pressure. As your mechanic has checked the wiring this only leaves the sensor which as you've been told countless times is probably at fault. Get it changed for your own and passengers safety.

I don't mind to change any sensors..but do I have to change for all four of them?..and is it common to have them faulty? It sounds very strange to me. I'll keep en eye for another tpms false warning and then will take action .

Its not false, the ABS sensor is giving an incorrect reading, either over or under the correct RPM, most likely the former, the simple logic of the TPMS system  shows this as a tyre pressure problem with that wheel.

You need to replace the sensor before you have further problems with ABS, ESP etc.

I hadn't seen the replys on page 2 when posting the above, I am out of here now.

I have had to change the tyre. since then I don't have ths problem.

@YannickWelcome to the forum.

@automassis the outcome that the tyre leaked and needing replacing and it is the title that is False and the warnings were correct?

No, The tyre went bursted while I was in Germany for holiday. So, I had to buy couple of new tyres and since then this problem gone.

I have new tires 🤔

@Yannick Have you set your pressures as you want, reset the TPMS and driven so that the circumferences are logged, and after that done is it warning that there is a tyre that has deflated?

How many miles or hours later?

tbh, my tyre was pretty new too..following by a pot hole hit i had to change the tyre from mobile tyre fitter. same tyre went bursted in Germany and i replaced both tyres and never seen the problem again. You can swap tyres around to pin point the problem probably.

@automassDid you pinpoint the problem,

as in what corner the tyre was fitted at that then gave a False warning, or was it actually one of the tyres that was replaced that caused it?

I also changed the wheels from front to back, set the pressures, but after driving a few hundred meters, it displayed an error

@Yannick OK, so missing some above.

Changing tyres and changing wheels back to front are not a cause for TPMS giving warnings.

?

So are you resetting the TPMS as per the owners manual tells you to?

Be careful if they're one directional tyres.

there is still a fault in the rear left

@Yannick   We do not pay on here by the words or letters.

Explain please and then maybe someone can help.

?

Was all OK, no warnings, then the car got new tyres and the TPMS reset, and now you get warnings?

?

How soon after resetting the TPMS?

Could it be a faulty sensor then! why not to try new sensors. they are not very expensive. Even I was shopping around to buy and as my problem sorted i didn't bother to buy. autodoc or aliexpress sell them.

@automass Did you not have a fault then, just the tyre?

I didn't have any fault..at lwast obd11 couldn't pull any fault. Somehow it is not occuring after changing the tyres. I almost forgot about this problem.

everything was OK. one day I got an error and since then it's been regular. I reset it and after a few meters the error is back.

It seems your sensor is faulty then..i didn't have anything wrong and any problem with TPMS at all. It was occasionally i used to get this low pressure warning.
