I'm Tim. Assume from the site name most cars are the performance variant. Ours isn't, as we have bought it as runabout for the kids to learn in. Having said that, my wife has fallen in love with its nippy size and practicality.

 

Although ours is just a plodder model, I am Hoping the forum posts and you knowledgeable types will help with basic issues as and when.

Briskly driven doesn't mean performance models at all.  Those variants are more likely to be the minority in these parts.

 

I'd think the 1.4 TDI is a cracking car to learn in 👍
