When driving earlier today  whilst doing about 3.5k Revs car does a massive judder. EPC on, limited to 4k Revs and stop start error. . its a 1.5 TSI 18 plate Octavia manual with Circa 55k on clock full service history .Has anyone any ideas and is this a known fault ?The Car is currently in main dealers 

You will need to have it checked for any fault codes logged like 'Misfires'.  So they will be doing that, and checking the spark plugs hopefully. and replacing them if not already replaced.

Had the spark plugs been replaced already?   The Guidelines, recommendation, schedule is at 4 years / 40,000 miles.

It was the turbo pipe off new seal and refitted at dealers .thanks for the heads up

Start of a pattern. Maybe as these engines get older / do more miles.

 

Only 2 members here so far unless others have had their car with the same and the garages made a song and dance and through parts at them.
