Over 50k !!

Featured Replies

Not cheap now are they ! Another 8 years and mine will have done 80k wonder what it will be worth then .... 😆

No mate, they sure ain’t!

£1420 more than we paid for our 2016, then 19k miler 3.25 years ago. I’m sure they’d loose that but zero depreciation in 3 years is amazing. And we’ve got a telly, too! 😁

I paid 34k for ours but it will always be worth at least 1k apparently that's the going price for a decent wooden coffin ... I wonder how much JCB rental is ?

Oh yeah…forgot about them things!

I think I bought mine at the right time in lockdown, £20k for 2 years and 20k miles. Now it’s got 53k miles on it yet I think I would struggle to get one for much less than I paid and the mileages are about the same as what I’ve got now! Great car though, it’s a keeper

I think that’s about what Prykey, the 1st owner and big participant here, paid for his…. errrr, ours in March ‘16 and he traded it in for a Mustang GT for £18k in December ‘19 and I bought it from an excellent indy front in Colchester, who paid £19k for it.

What's 50k?

MrRich 🤣

50k = mileage I believe.

Oh, and our 280 is definitely a keeper.

Don't spoil it !!  🤣 Just broken 46k miles

Prices have gone mad. Skodas used to be seen as a brand for cheaper reliable cars.  When I bought my MkII Octavia VRS at 6 month old in 2008 for £15K it was a fairly rare ,  solidly built and fantastic value for the money.  I saw a 1.4 Hybrid Superb L& K online with 1000 miles for £53K ! That's twice the price I paid for my 6 month old 272 L&K with 2500 miles in Feb 2020. How can people afford to actually buy cars

Correct spelling

Yep, residuals and thereby prices are nuts and zero sign of them diminishing

as long as the builds for new cars are 12m and more. The manufacturers are loving it; high residuals and increased RRP’s, so perfect for them.

On your question, I’m guessing PCP’s.

For that price, you now barely have a Dacia F*ckster missing many options...
