Pump for screen wash on 22 plate Skoda Superb

Featured Replies

Hi I need to find and inspect the pump on the screen wash on my car. Can you please tell me where it is and how to remove it. Thanks.

Firstly, what is it, or is not doing, if that makes sense?
Secondly, what engine does the car have, as I think the tank and therefore the pump, maybe in different locations in the engine bay, depending on engine type?
Finally, if the pump has failed, isn’t it still under warranty?

Thanks. Want to check that the contents have not been contaminated. It’s a diesel 200ps DSG SEL estate.

So is the pump still working? What makes you think the water is contaminated? (OK… what have you done now?! 😂).
Where is the filler neck located?

Right hand side of engine bay when looking at the car with the bonnet open.

Also, does the car have:-

  1. rear wash/wipe
  2. and/or headlight washers?

My old Octy had all 3 systems, and a 5.5l washer fluid tank.

The OP has a 22 plate SEL estate, so it will have all of what you mention as standard.

Great. Well, you’ll probably need to remove the NS wheel and wheel arch liner to get to the washer bottle; hopefully ApatureS et al will confirm.

Now do you want to answer my other questions, namely…

So is the pump still working? What makes you think the water is contaminated?
