How do you do, from Sheffield.

I'm here to ask a technical question in the other forum bit shortly.

In 2020 after 14 years of bringing up kids that far, we replaced our beloved well used grubby inside and out, somewhat smokey old 1.9 diesel Octavia estate with a 1 year old petrol 1.5 TSI, (and as a lockdown car only driven by the dealer it'd only done 3500 miles!). Such a smooth and quiet and bonkersly efficient whaftomatic (it's not an automatic, i just like that as a description of the driving experience) car, and bluetooth too. Now one of the grubby kids is ready to learn to drive, so Baby Skoda will be delivered in a few days, a Citigo.

Top tip for mounting your phone so you can use a popular phone navigating app:
Put a blob of blutack on the top of your phone, then at the bottom right corner of your windscreen stand your phone on the dash, lean it against the windscreen, then firmly press so the blutack sticks to the windscreen and the phone squishes into the spongey dash. Simples.

Eh up from another Sheffielder...
