Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor

Featured Replies

Recently had my 2001 Skoda Octavia 1.8T 20V Automatic go into limp home mode while driving with a sudden loss of power as it does. Scanning the ECU I had a couple of errors for throttle position sensor in main and transmission ecu's. I've not pulled the accelerator pedal assembly to get its part numbers and was just informed a new Hella replacement I ordered is for LHD cars only as is all the alternative accelerator pedal kits at autodoc. I'm guessing a Skoda dealership ordered replacement will be stupid money so if anyone else has found an aftermarket replacement that is UK RHD car friendly please let me know. TIA

What are the fault code numbers? If you message me with your VIN I can tell you what part number your accelerator pedal assy is.

Thanks Breezy Pete, fault codes were P163900 at ECU and 00777 Transmission. Would need to get my VIN tomorrow as don't have it to hand but it's an 01 Octavia Estate 1.8t 20V auto gearbox.
