Cambelts rarely need changing on Up/Citigo - there's lots of disinformation on this "out there", just to make a quick buck.

It’s 10 years and at 63700 miles. 
my last visit they convinced me that the belt is deteriorating showing me a old rubber flaking on google images. 😆 

It seems that you were not that convinced.

Skoda UK or Skoda Main Dealers in the UK say @ 5 years regardless of what is said for other World / Global regions with more extreme environmental conditions than can ever be expected in the UK.
