Recall on My Superb iV to check battery for condensation

Featured Replies

Since getting my car back in April from the recall, my all electric range has dropped by a massive 20% to 25% Skoda say the stats on my battery are reading as they should and can't find anything untoward. Has anyone else suffered a similar problem and have you got the matter resolved?

@dickieboy

Was it an actual 'Recall' your car was in for like the Matting, or Recall Action / Service Campaign.

Was it about 'Condensation' or 'Degradation' of the battery?

?

How many miles has your car done?

It was an actual recall and all about possible condensation in the battery compartment.

Sorry. I forgot to say that the car has 28000 miles

@dickieboy

Those with the same cars will be along hopefully.

Best you get your report to a Dealership / Authorised repairer ASAP, or they will be saying, 'Never heard of that before', rather than they all do that.

No garage round here is tooled up for the recall...had it booked into Winchester in March, but they rang and said they couldn't do it...Westover Bournemouth said at that time they were hoping to get trained and tooled. My local garage Meadens is only Class 2 so can't drop the battery. So much for safety...
